I am totally pregnant!
Unlike with Tom, this time I knew before I was nine weeks along and my sister had to suggest it.
I knew.
Did I take a test once I realized it?
No.
Did I go to the doctor once I realized it?
No.
I just — bought some prenatal vitamins and stopped doing drugs.
Kidding!
(About the drugs. I never did drugs, but I did start taking the vitamins.)
((Please don’t call the police.))
I was kind of in shock at first.
And by “at first” I mean for the first 2-3 weeks after I realized it.
I mean, I knew we were wanting another baby.
But when it actually happened, I was like…wait, what?!
And then…
I just kind of…well I…I…
I almost forgot about it.
I KNOW!
Poor baby #2! (Already!)
I just was so busy with work and Tom and playdates and halloween costume research that I just kind of went along with life like you do.
(With prenatal vitamins.)
I went to the doctor when I was 11 weeks along and they confirmed there was a baby in there.
Two weeks ago, I had an ultrasound so I could see the baby.
And then — then I remembered I was pregnant.
The baby was just moving around like a maniac. Waving his little limbs all about. His little heart beating super fast.
As if to say — DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME, WOMAN!
(I don’t know he is a boy. I just say that because I’m used to saying “he” when talking about anyone in my family.)
I am 14 weeks along now and very, very excited about the new baby.
The baby is due on April Fool’s Day.
So if you see an update from me on that day saying I had a baby, well…
I may not be joking.

Yeah, Kev proposed to me on April Fool’s Day, so apparently that is one lucky date for us!
