It was Thanksgiving! And since my official last day as a full-time TV news writer was Wednesday — that means for the first time in 11 years, I had Thanksgiving day, the day after and the entire weekend off. Four. Whole. Days. Of course, now I have the foreseeable future off too. Which is a whole different kind of intimidating.
I’m off topic.
I blame the 3 cups of coffee I’ve already consumed.
Here are some bits of our (Thanksgiving!) weekend.
Tom was supposed to be building a block castle with his Daddy, but he fell in love with one particular block and ran off with it. And they lived happily ever after.
Kevin was proud of his castle, which he built all by himself. Such a big boy.
Mimi fed Tom a deck of cards instead of turkey.
Uncle Kyle and Tom LOVE Thanksgiving!
I totally let Tom stay in his pajamas the entire next day.
Our first tree ever in our house! I would’ve taken pictures of us chopping it down all warm-and-tingly-family-like, but we bought it from Home Depot.
Kyle and Tom’s face are both awesome.
