I’m sorry this is late…AGAIN. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’ve been working a lot, and for some reason those few hours in the morning seem to throw off my entire schedule for the day! I’m sure I’ll get it all figured out soon. Right?!
This weekend we spent a lot of time outside. Unfortunately, my camera had to spend a lot of time inside because someone (me) forgot to charge the battery, so it died mid-hike.
But it was a great weekend and I’m really, REALLY enjoying the cooler weather.
Bye, summer! Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out!
Here’s what our weekend looked like:
Kev began our Saturday tradition of doughnuts. He didn’t know it would be tradition, but when I saw them, I realized they would be.
We took Tom and Huck on a hike Saturday. Tom ran the entire first mile, and then asked to be carried the entire way back. In other news, I am very strong.
Tom looking over the bridge at the river. Later, he was cutely crouched and sniffing a flower but that’s when my camera died. But just imagine it…(cuteness, right?)
I also went to the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park with my mother-in-law, sister, and her two babies. Again, no camera. But just imagine us at an amazingly huge craft festival with two well-behaved and adorable babies…(cute, right?)
We had a great time and a wonderful weekend! Hope y’all have a good week! LOVE.
hmmm… missed those yummy doughnuts back in Bangkok
hehe.. we went hiking too – but we had a hiking backpack – not so bad for the carrying part – you are very strong! Looks like a fun weekend and I am jealous of the doughnuts!
You know, when I read this I realized I DID ask Kev if we should bring the backpack and he said no! Man! Guess he owes me another dozen doughnuts this Saturday.
