Bits: Disney World Edition.

I’ve missed you! Does that seem weird? Well, sorry. Now you know: I’m weird.

So…where have I been?

My in-laws were totally generous and kind and took us to Disney World during Thanksgiving week.

I know!

Here’s how it looked…

Tom’s first ride was the teacups with Daddy!

Waiting for the TRAIN! at the Animal Kingdom.

Taking it all in.

They had a wall of fish! Tom was happy.

The cousins in their Mimi-made shirts!

Checking out the castle with Pops.

Eating dinner with Piglet.

The castle at night! Oh so pretty.

Trying to see everything in It’s A Small World.

Dumbo! He loved this ride so much he cried when we had to get off.

Fact: Tom thought this moving walkway was just as cool as the other rides.

The PeopleMover in TomorrowLand was a big hit!

Playing lightsabers with Reese.

Hanging out with Madelynn.

See this? That means he had a great time.

Hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving week! LOVE!

How fun. What special memories were made. Your pictures make me so excited about our upcoming trip. Any tips for us?

      Yes! My tips would be:

      1. If you can, get a FastPass for both Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh — those are both popular and crowded most of the time. (I would add Dumbo to that list, but I didn’t think they had a FastPass option…but I could be wrong!)

      2. Hollywood Studios is a waste of time for our kids’ age group. There is nothing for them there.

      3. Animal Kingdom was nice because it wasn’t as crowded as Magic Kingdom and Tom could get his fill of animals. He loved it!

      4. It’s A Small World is great for them. Mainly because it’s a longer ride than most, but also because there is SO much for them to look at. Tom was in a trance both times we rode it.

      5. The ferry was easier for us to take to the Magic Kingdom than the Monorail because of our stroller. (You have to fold it up on the Monorail.) Plus, Tom loved the boat!

Hope that helps some! I know you guys will have a great time!
