This weekend we headed to my parents house for a quick visit.
It was Alice’s first spend-the-night trip, and she did really, really well.
I was so happy that both she and Tom did so well sleeping there this time, although it probably helped that my parents and sister and her kids helped tire my babies out.
I mean, completely wiped them out.
It was awesome.
Here’s what it looked like…
Our plan was to fill up this pool, let it sit in the sun and get warm, then let Tom play in it. Tom’s plan was to get in it right away. He loved it. He especially loved aiming the whale’s spewing blowhole at us. (If I got a nickel for every time I’ve typed *that* sentence…)
Alice finding a comfy place to sleep on Grandma.
Special Moment Alert: Alice meeting my Grandmother. We had a wonderful visit and Alice settled right down once she was in her LaLa’s arms.
Alice, LaLa and her great-uncle Kelly.
Tom and his PawPaw. I swear, Tom was actually wearing clothes for part of the weekend.
Alice playing with her Aunt Rachel!
Hope y’all have a great week! LOVE!
Oh that picture of Alice and your grandmother is frame worthy!
Great pictures! I love the whale.
How wonderful to get to introduce your children to your grandmother! I never got to do that.
Looks like a great weekend! Love that last one of Alice…beautiful! Hugs!!
