As I mentioned previously, we spent Easter Sunday with Kevin’s parents and his brother’s family.
As we all sat down for the lovely (and yummy) dinner, my father-in-law got ready to say the blessing.
We all folded our hands, bowed our heads and closed our eyes as he began to lead the prayer.
And while he was thanking God for all the wonderful blessings in our lives, my son began to say…
“Wake up!”
“Wake up, Daddy!”
“Wake up!”
“WAKE UP!”
Which is what happens when you play “naptime” with your son quite a bit, but don’t often say the blessing before dinner.
(Sorry about that!)
Amen.
Hilarious! I love it!
hahahaha.
Love it!!
Ha-that’s funny. My dad tells really long blessings and when Olivia is hungry, she just interupts him and says AMEN loudly and starts eating. That’s his que to wrap it up!
