I got Alice out of the bath and checked the clock to see if it was time to feed her.
11:03 a.m.
I took Alice to her changing table so I could dry her off, put on her lotion and put on her clothes.
And then this happened…
Tom got in Alice’s bathtub and sat in it.
Tom got out of Alice’s bathtub and ran through the house soaking wet.
I took off Tom’s shorts and told him I’d get him a new pair and a dry shirt in a second.
Tom completely dismantled his racetrack.
Tom began to cry because his racetrack was “Brooooo-ken!!!”
I told Tom to wait just (another) second and I would fix it.
Tom went to a kitchen cabinet, opened it, and pulled out Huck’s dog treats.
Tom ate a dog treat.
Tom told me it was “yucky.”
I checked the clock again because surely I was taking way too long to get Alice dressed.
11:08 a.m.
Impressive, right?
I thought so, too.
He’s lucky he’s so stinkin’ cute!
Ha ha! All that energy is wasted on toddlers. We’re the ones who need it, so we can put it to good use!
It is amazing how 5 minutes can feel like an hour when everything crazy is going on! I feel your pain!
