This weekend our friends, Beth and Joe, invited us and our other preschool friends over to their pool for a cookout.

It was a blast!

Tom has this thing right now where when we’re headed out to the pool, he tells me he doesn’t want to go.

“I don’t want to swim, Mommy!”

And I’ll tell him he doesn’t have to swim, but we’re going to go anyway.

And then we get there and he can’t wait to get in, swims the whole time and cries when it’s time to go.

Weirdo.

We had a wonderful time!

Both kids fell asleep on the way home and they both slept really good that night.
