On Friday, we put on a little Halloween party at our house for our playgroup.
It was so fun!
I had a great time — and I’m pretty sure the kids did too.
Maybe because Tom is getting a bit older, but this year I was really into Halloween. I wanted pretty much every decoration from the Dollar Tree (and you’ll see that I mostly did) and I couldn’t wait to do Halloween crafts with him this year.
This party gave me an excuse to decorate and craft to my heart’s content.
Here’s how it looked…
W-HOO, W-HOO loves this baby owl? (Me, me, me!)
Best. Picture. EVER!! Seriously, I cannot stop laughing at it. Everything about it is awesome. I may have it framed.
I knew my nephew, Gus, would love this pumpkin “toss” game because he loves balls. LOVES.
Little Drew is so intimidating.
Witch Pitch! I made this (thanks, Pinterest!) and the kids pretty much psycho-loved it. They loved tossing the candy corn in the buckets and they loved just filling the buckets with the candy. It was a huge hit. (And it was my sister’s favorite part, too.)
No idea how all my streamers got torn down…Little stink!
Abbey dominating pin-the-nose-on-the-pumpkin!
This is what toddlers look like when you tell them they can have the cupcakes now.
Cutest. Cupcake. Eaters. Ever.
Maxine really knows how cupcake-eating should be done. LOVE!
I’m showing off the goody bags because they were my favorites. Do they look like bats flying in front of a moon? Because they’re supposed to and I think they do. So easy! Yay!
There was one tired Cinderella after the party.
We had a wonderful time and I’m so happy our playgroup let me do it! I had so much fun putting everything together and watching all the kids in their costumes. So cute!
And they even did a “marching band parade” around the house about 20 times.
It was quite awesome and sounded really good.
(One part of that sentence is true.)
Hope y’all have a happy and safe Halloween! LOVE.
What an adorable group and your decorations and games look awesome!
Sorry we missed it! Everything looks awesome! Everyone looks adorable!
