For the third year in a row, Tom and I rode the Pink Pig.
When I first moved to Atlanta, people talked about the Pink Pig like I should know what they were talking about.
After awhile, I remember understanding that the Pink Pig was an Atlanta Christmas tradition, but it wasn’t until I actually had Tom that I realized what it was…
A pink pig train in a big tent at Lenox Square Mall.
Obviously!
I look forward to it every year now, because Tom and I have had so much fun.
It’s now our Atlanta Christmas tradition.
This year the plan was for Kevin and Alice to join us for the first time ever.
But, plans in this house are rarely working out these days!
Poor Alice was up most of the night and was still asleep when Tom and I left, so Kev stayed with her.
So Tom and I got to ride the Pink Pig just the two of us.
Just like old times!
He’s got his ticket and his Polar Express pocket watch and he’s ready to ride!
We had the best time together.
What made it even better?
Afterward we did a quick walk around the mall – which is really decorated.
We rode the escalator together.
(We never do that because I always have a stroller, so it was big excitement!)
We watched other kids cry about Santa Claus.
We saw the Macy’s Great Tree on top of the mall.
We touched the big ornaments on the big tree inside the mall.
Then we bought 3 cookies to eat in the car on the way home.
Y’all?
That’s a perfect morning.
Love the pictures! Glad you guys had a great time!
