We had Alice’s 1st Birthday party this weekend.
I planned for it to be outside.
I have no idea why I assumed the weather would be picture perfect in mid-March, but I totally did.
And y’all?
I was TOTALLY RIGHT!
Woo!
All of that psycho-checking of the 10 day forecast paid off and Saturday was beautiful!
I’m so glad about that.
So with weather on my side, the day just had to be awesome, right?
Yeah.
It was.
I have written a separate blog about her party inspiration and the crafty parts, but for now let me just show you how much my wonderful, smart, beautiful daughter just absolutely loved everything about her special day.
I mean…she just adored it and everyone who came to celebrate with her.
She is quite fabulous.
Here’s how the birthday girl looked!!
(Hint: Beautiful.)
Our family photos these days are a little…hectic.
I just wanted to point out that my sister helped in a major way. Like…she made 35 sandwiches-helped clean up-helped put everything together-gave helpful advice-MAJOR WAY. Yay, sisters!
He had the best time. Seriously.
A beautiful copy of Alice in Wonderland!
I love this photo in a major way.
We had the best time.
She had the best time.
I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who came out to help Alice celebrate her first birthday.
It was beyond awesome and is a day I’ll always remember.
(And I promise to remind Alice in case she forgets.)
LOVED it.
And you.
xoxo,
k.
