I love when Tom brings home artwork from school.
I love to ask him about it and to see what he says.
Last week, he brought home this:
I love it and think it’s super cute.
I asked Tom what it was.
“It’s an umbrella,” he said.
(Although the word ‘umbrella’ sounded more like ‘ooorella’.)
“And what are these?” I asked, pointing to the cotton balls.
“Those are clouds,” he said.
“And what about this?” I asked, pointing to the glitter.
“That’s rain,” he said excitedly.
“Oh, and what is this?” I asked, pointing to his little squiggly lines underneath the umbrella.
And he said…
“That’s chalk.”
Because rainy day pictures must include an umbrella, clouds, rain and…chalk.
