Gus’ {Golf Themed} 2nd Birthday Party.

My sister did an amazing job putting together my nephew’s golf-themed birthday party.

There were so many cute details, and I just had to share them with you!

Food table.  Rachel painted that picture in the background.

Rachel made the food and decorated the cupcakes and Gus’ cake.  Super cute, right?!

Water hazard!  The blue kool-aid was a huge hit.

Rachel and Adam set up a 3-hole putt-putt in their backyard using pool noodles, cardboard boxes, and hula hoops.  It. Was. Awesome.  Everyone loved it and played it the entire time.

This final hole (Fort Augustus) only took me 10 tries to get it in there.  I’m skilled.

Sand trap!  The kids had to dig out the buried balls.  (They loved this, too!)

Decorating your own golf visor.

Party favors from the “pro shop!”

Rachel painted this background for picture-taking.  Awesome!

Doesn’t that look like a super cool and fun PAR-TEE?!  It totally was.

I’m so glad they let us come and play a round.

(See what I did there?  I stole that from the invite.  Also?  I love puns.)

This is awesome. So many great ideas I could adapt for my relatives who love golf.

Hi there! Love the party theme – we are doing something similar for my son’s birthday! I would love to know what you guys used to hold the pool noodles in the ground. My husband and I are stumped! Thanks in advance!

Hey Tiffany! This was a really great theme — we LOVED it and had such a great time. I asked my sister your question and she said, “We used “yard staples” — you can get them from the garden section of lowes/home depot.” Hope that helps and good luck!
