While we were visiting my aunt and uncle, we again rode the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad’s Dinosaur Train.
It was a blast!
We had done it last year — and I was worried it wouldn’t be too exciting to do it again — but the kids really loved it.
(And Alice could actually participate this year, as opposed to being nursed in a tent the entire time like last year.)
I will say it again — Tom loved the train museum at the end of the event just as much (if not more) than the actual event.
And that’s saying something.
We were (again!) the last people to leave, and he still cried when it was time to go.
In case you weren’t sure…
Tom LOVES (!!!) trains.
Here’s what love of all things trains and Dinosaur Train look like…
(Side note: I never got a picture with Alice and Buddy — but she loved him. She didn’t want to stand with him, saying “NO!” anytime I asked, but every time I turned to leave, she’d lunge and point at him and say “Buddy.” She really loved looking at him. For an awkwardly long amount of time.)
(I missed a lot of pictures of Tom here because Alice fell asleep in my arms and trapped the camera. So…I had to wait until she woke up to get some. Sorry!)
It was awesome and amazing and we all loved it.
But Tom loved it most of all.
