Disney Day 4: Magic Kingdom and Night Swimming.

For our final day at the parks, we decided to head back to the Magic Kingdom.

The forecast called for an 80% chance of thunderstorms all day, so I wasn’t really anxious to get started early or anything.

But even though I wasn’t aiming to get there early, we were still there by 9:45 or so.

And guess what?

It didn’t rain.

Not one drop.

And the sun came out!

And guess what else?

When you go to Magic Kingdom on a Tuesday in September when there’s an 80% chance of thunderstorms — very few people are as crazy as you.

And you just walk on to whatever ride you want!

Which was awesome, because that’s just what we wanted to do!

Cutest little Disney fan you ever did see.

I wish you could’ve seen how happy he was to get this bag of Cheetos.  He thought it was one of the greatest things at Disney.

He had talked about the Haunted Mansion for days, but when it was time for us to go back and ride it, he decided he didn’t want to — he wanted to ride PIRATES!  So we did, and it was more awesome than I remembered.

Babies waiting to go on Winnie the Pooh (another repeat request).

After seeing how much Alice loved Ariel at the princess dinner, we decided to ride the new mermaid ride for the first time.  Dude.  She LOVED it!  She kept waving to the Ariels and saying, “Hi, Hi, Hi!” and she smiled the whole time!  She rode it again with Mimi and Pops after this!

Because sometimes climbing up on the table is a good idea.

We got ice cream at the fancy shop on Main Street.  Big hit!

We rode the teacups on this day, too.  They were both SO happy!

Acting silly.

We headed home after lunch.  And this is how they looked approximately .05 seconds after getting back to our hotel.

They. Were. TIRED!

After they woke up from their marathon naps, we ate supper at the hotel and then went SWIMMING!

At night!

They thought that was the coolest thing ever!

It was super fun and a great way to end our vacation.

It was an amazing trip, and I’m so, so happy the babies had such a wonderful time!

And I’m so happy we could share it with our family!

And I’m so thankful we were able to go — it really was great.

(Thank you, Mimi and Pops!)

And I want to leave you with this picture — which I just adore.

Our baby at Disney for the first time…
