Halloween was the best ever!!

My little Alice was Snow White because she *is* actually Snow White.

And Tom?

Well, I thought I had him all convinced to be a rocket ship.

And then he told me, “I want to be an owl.  So I can scare everybody in the WHOLE TOWN!”

And every day after that, whenever anyone asked him what he wanted to be, he would say…

“I want to be an owl.  So I can scare everybody in the WHOLE TOWN!”

And he never wavered.

So for the third time in four years — I made an owl costume.

And he looked awesome!

They were adorable and did amazing and it was really great.

Tom had been looking forward to Halloween for weeks!

And I really think it surpassed his expectations.

(At least I hope so!  Tom made us drive by the “spooky house” in our neighborhood every night.  Their house is the one house that is elaborately decorated and it was the best.  He invited us to their house.  They gave him a decoration.  He LOVES Halloween!  So for his expectations to be surpassed?  Well, it had to be pretty amazing!)

Trick or Treat!!

She’s a pro.

Alice loved getting all the candy.

After the first house, she ate a piece of chocolate and was totally hooked.

Like, when we tried to take her basket to put her in the car seat to head home, she started yelling, “BASKET, BASKET, BASKET!”

Also?

She knows the word “chocolate” and demands it frequently.

She says, “choc-it.”

I have no idea where she got this chocolate obsession from.

Hmmmm….maybe….Kevin?

Who knows!  All I know is…it’s delightful.

LOVE my happy, happy babies and I’m so happy we were able to Trick or Treat with family!
