After visiting with my parents the weekend before Christmas, we headed to Kevin’s parents’ house to celebrate with them!
We had brunch.
Don’t you just LOVE brunch?! I totally do.
But before we had brunch…we opened presents!
Oh, the kids were so excited.
My favorite part is when my nephew, niece and Tom helped hand out all the presents.
I’ve loved that part every year, I have no idea why.
It’s just…so darn cute!
This year was no different, and Tom did an awesome job. Even sometimes adding a, “Merry Christmas to you!” when he added another gift to someone’s stack.
Cuteness!
So here’s how a Merry Christmas with Mimi and Pops looks…
They’ve staked out their seat, and are awaiting gifts to be brought to them via cute kids.
Sitting beside his stack…ready.
A book about animals!! A perfect Alice gift.
My cute niece matching her cute doll.
Alice is scared of Uncle Kyle. Probably because he’s super scary! (Kidding!!) But he took her picture, and added it to a dancing elf on his phone, and she got close to him so she could see it and she just loved it! She kept saying, “Again! Again!” So there you go. All you have to do to get Alice to like you is to turn her into a dancing elf. Obviously.
And then we got home and Alice played with the gel clings she got in her stocking at Mimi and Pops’ house for the rest of the night. Seriously, her favorite!
We had a wonderful time and were so happy to be able to see all of our family just before the big day. It was amazing, and being able to see all of their grandparents and cousins in the same week made my kids feel like they were in heaven — and that thrills me.
Merry Christmas!
The boy in the back totally cracked me up!
So enjoyed getting a peek into your Christmas. Tom has gotten so big and Alice is just the cutest thing ever! And loved seeing Mimi- I miss her!
