Thank you guys for sticking with me as I post all of this Christmas stuff that happened months ago!
But guess what?!
This was taken TODAY!
Yes, it’s true. It’s an actual June post…posted in JUNE!
(Cheers all around!)
Tom and Alice both had Vacation Bible School this week, and it ended today with a grand performance of songs for the parents!
I got there early, and caught Alice’s group practicing — and I’m so glad I did!
They had 10 songs to sing! So these 3 and 4 year olds practiced all the songs, then had to actually perform them with all of the age groups immediately after. So they’re like…singing for 40 minutes.
But not Alice.
(Ha ha ha!)
Halfway through the actual performance, she just walked right off that stage to me. She said she was just, “too tired to sing anymore.”
(And the poor thing actually did fall asleep on the way home, so…she’s a truth teller.)
And Tom?
Well, I told Tom I couldn’t see him during the actual performance, and he said, “Oh, I was sitting down in the back, not singing.”
Okay!
So here is Alice, singing the first song and doing an awesome job. Seriously, seeing her singing and doing the movements and dancing makes me tear up a little. I’m just so proud of my shy girl getting up there and performing!! So happy.
Enjoy, y’all!
(Alice is toward the right, in the striped pants. The one who wiggles! LOVE.)
Oh my goodness her little leg wiggles are the best! No wonder she got tired – she put a lot into her performance!!
So sweet! Love VBS!
